This grows with every answer. Green means mastered (85%+). Your next mission targets your lowest skills — and if a skill needs its building block first, you'll practice that instead.

Grown-ups: the AI tutors only work when this app runs inside Claude.ai. Everywhere else they fall back to a learning game, which still teaches and still earns Rewards.

Four digits — the default is 0000. Three wrong tries adds a 60-second cooldown.
Kid mode has no path to this screen. Reaching it requires the app switcher, not a swipe.
Forgot PIN? Reset it from a device where you're already signed in — never in-app.
Grown-up settings
How many YouTube minutes a finished game round is worth. Longer AI lessons earn more, scaled by accuracy. Minutes count down while watching, and stop at zero.
Kids can also spend earned stars on extra watch minutes.
Paste one link or many — any format works, and each is checked before it's added.
Trust a channel and your child gets its newest videos (50 by default), refreshed daily. Paste a channel link, @handle, or playlist link. (A channel link with UC… or a playlist works without an API key.)
Off by default, so you can get in quickly. Switch it on if your child is likely to wander in here and change things.
Four digits. Write it down somewhere — there is no way to recover it.
Edit a name in the first box to rename a player. If the voice spells a name out (like “M-I-A”), type how it should sound in the second box — e.g. Mee-ah.
Set what stars buy and what each costs. Untick to hide one. Your child asks; you say yes or no, and stars come back if you say no.
Tick the channels each child is allowed. Everything is on by default.
Only the newest ones are kept, so a big channel doesn't flood the list. Older ones drop off as new videos arrive.
Without a key, channels are saved but their videos can't be fetched — add individual videos instead.
Thank you for trying Beanstalk with your family. Your pilot code is . Tell us anything \u2014 what confused you, what your child liked, what you would change.
For pilot families only. After some read-aloud answers, a grown-up can tap Yes or No so we can measure how accurate listening is.
For the pilot. Creates a file with no name, email, device details or audio — just skills, answers and timings under a random code. You choose whether to share it.
Clears this child’s progress but keeps them in the app.
Removes every child, all learning data and all settings from this device. If you exported a file, delete that separately.
Your players are saved on this device. Before switching to a newer version of the app, save a backup file — then load it into the new version to keep every player, star and level.
Pick a file once — progress is written to it every time, so it survives even if the browser clears its own storage.
Beanstalk’s main path. A sequential, cumulative phonics sequence in the Orton-Gillingham tradition: explicit letter sounds with keywords, sound tapping, word building, nonsense-word decoding, heart words, and decodable stories read aloud for fluency. Ten stages, each using only what has already been taught. Built for children learning to read, including those with dyslexia.
Optional. Counting, adding, place value, times tables, fractions, time, money and word problems. Off by default so reading stays the focus — useful for older children or a child who wants a change.
Some children find reading easier with more space between letters and words. These settings change spacing and size only; no font is claimed to treat dyslexia.
On by default. Your child reads words aloud and the app listens. If the microphone is blocked or unavailable, they can continue by tapping a button instead.
Load the game file once and it works from inside the app — no matter where the files live.
For trying things out: videos and the game open without spending minutes and never time out. Turn it off to put the normal earn-it rules back.
Learning stops 60 minutes before this.
Enforced no matter how many credits are earned.
Video plays in uninterrupted blocks this long, with a 2-minute warning before each ends.
Kids can chain missions to fill the bank, but never save beyond this.
